Taco's Story

Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.TACO the terrific terrier mix is a solid, great little dog who just loves people and runs around very happy. TACO was found on the streets of San Antonio, TX by a good Samaritan running the streets. Just writing about him makes me smile because he is a happy little guy who is enjoying himself and happy to be in the house. And he is loving running in and out to play and just mingle with the dogs.
TACO is just a bit over 1 year old and 14 pounds and has reached his adult height and weight. I do not expect he will grow any bigger.
I do not have any cats so I am not sure how he would get along with them. I also do not have a doggy door so I let the dogs out often to potty. I am saying he is not potty trained but I do not give him a chance to have an accident in the house, I let him often. I would just be safe to say that he will need to be trained. But he loves treats so it should be pretty east to potty train him. He is catching on.
His coat is very soft and light, not thick. He would probably benefit from a trim every 3-4 months, not often like a regular grooming.
TACO was given his name by the finder's little boy and he perks up when I call him. He is independent, not all in your face but he is engaging. I would give him space to settle in and get to know you.
He is totally crate trained. TACO would be a great first pet for anyone as he is easy to get along with and easy to train.
If you are interested in adopting TACO, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you
www.roxysk9rescue.org

ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED

Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.
