Taco's Story

This little guy was found as a stray eating garbage two years ago. No owner could be found and he had nowhere to go, so his finders kept him. Sadly, when the landlord recently found out, and they had to give him up. Taco has settled in so nicely. He's gone to small dog play group and had so much fun. He ran and played with a dozen dogs and had a blast. He takes a few minutes to warm up, but he's very sweet and affectionate with those he trusts. He gets along great with a variety of dogs in his foster home and loves to go for walks with his people.

Taco is curious and energetic, quickly getting into backyard zooms with the resident dog, then more relaxed with being pet and treats. He's great on leash.
Taco has been an indoor dog, where he's house trained and got along well with small dogs and children in the home. He's a Yorkie type mix of 20 pounds and probably 2-3 years old. He will be available after medical clearance.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-dogs/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
