Tackle's Story

Tackle (approximately 43 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. He is a super happy, super social, super outgoing boy who loves to make new friends and have adventures with them. Tackle's previous paperwork lists him as a Pit Bull Terrier, but everyone who meets him thinks that is crazy...we see way more Pointer and Hound in this dog than anything else! And Tackle lives up to those breed traits for sure - he is thrilled when given the chance to be active outside doing something with his person, he is very responsive to training, and he has a very athletic & graceful build. In short, Tackle is ready to be someone's partner in all things active. He participated in doggie play groups at his previous shelter & did well with the dogs there, and he has been friendly with the dogs that he has met here. Tackle would probably love to go home with another young active dog who wants to play. This handsome, sweet, & loving dog is waiting for the right person to come by & scoop him up - come meet Tackle today!

If you'd like to meet Tackle and all his friends at the New Hampshire SPCA, please visit our Adoption Center during our open hours: 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every day except Wednesdays (closed).
