Tac's Story
Meet Tac — Hoping for a Home This Holiday Season

This holiday season, we’d love to introduce you to Tac, a gentle and outgoing 5-month-old Anatolian Shepherd / Labrador mix who is ready to brighten someone’s home.

Tac may be a little shy when you first meet her, but it doesn’t take long for her true personality to shine through. She’s tender, sweet, and warms up quickly to everyone around her. She truly knows no stranger and brings a soft, joyful presence wherever she goes.

Tac will make a wonderful family dog. With her blend of loyalty, affection, and a bit of goofy charm, she’s the kind of companion who grows into your heart and stays there. She’s eager to learn, eager to love, and eager to be part of a family during this cozy, magical season.

Tac is hoping to find her forever home for the holidays.

If you’ve been looking for a loving companion to share the season—and all the seasons to come—she might just be the perfect match.

Please share to help Tac find her holiday home

By the way, Tac is spayed, microchipped, and current on all shots -- all ready for a new home.

For more information, please call Douglas County Animal Services (DCAS) at 775-782-9061 or Douglas Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) at 775-267-7325. Or come meet me at the Douglas County Animal Shelter (please call first to make sure I'm still at the shelter). Click on Douglas Animal Welfare Group below for the address and directions.

ALSO A "MEET AND GREET" WILL BE REQUIRED IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER DOGS IN THE HOUSEHOLD.

ONE LAST THING! If you rent, you will be required to provide written approval from your landlord that you can have a dog. It needs to be specific, i.e. all dogs okay, no big dogs, specific breeds restricted, etc.
