TABBY's Story
Meet Tabby. This 4-year-old, 45-pound Pittie mix is a completely different dog outside the shelter. Tabby is shy and stressed in her kennel, but during a recent foster stay she was described as affectionate, well-mannered and playful. She loved snuggling on the couch, being petted and staying close to her person. She walks BEAUTIFULLY on a leash, enjoys getting outside and has successfully met with another dog here at the shelter. Tabby needs a patient person who can give her time to decompress and feel safe. She has not been around children, and if there are other animals in the home, slow, thoughtful introductions will be important. If you’re looking for a loving, couch-snuggling companion, please... give Tabby a chance. All this good girl needs is a home she feels safe in to show you who she really is.
