My journey is a little different than most.<br/><br/>Some of us are healing from medical conditions. Some of us are learning to trust. Some of us have special needs or require a very specific home to thrive. While we're always open to meeting the right family, our priority is making sure we're happy, healthy, and loved every step of the way.<br/><br/>For me, that means it would take a truly special home—someone who understands my unique needs and is committed to giving me the life I deserve. Every gift, no matter the size, helps dogs like me continue to receive the second chances we deserve.<br/><br/>***Sylvie is very scared and will need a secure and patient home for adoption***Sylvie and her seven babies came to us on 7/11/2022 when the puppies were one day old. There were more than 50 dogs on the property where she came from. She is very sweet but still timid. Once you gain Sylvie's trust, you have the best friend in the world. Sylvie is extremely treat and food motivated and will follow you everywhere for her favorite treat. She loves romping in the yard with her foster siblings, lying on the bed or sofa with her human and especially resting on the back of the sofa like a cat. She is ready for her own home. She needs a back yard as she will not walk on a leash. She is doting and loving and protective. She lets you know when a stranger arrives, whether it is a bug or a person and she enjoys being the protector.<br/><br/>The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
