Sylvia's Story

Her foster mom calls her Syl, but her full government name is Sylvia—and while we can’t confirm she has any connections, she definitely has the confidence of someone who knows a guy.

Sylvia is not a wallflower. She’s not melting into a corner, quietly observing the room, or waiting for someone to notice her. She makes no apologies for who she is.

She’s two years old, has a big ol’ blockhead and a cartoon face that looks like she’s smiling all the time. She’s a complete goofball, ridiculously smart, and has the kind of personality that just makes you smirk at her.

Syl gets along well with the resident dog in her foster home and has a higher-energy play style, so she’s definitely not looking for a dog who wants to sit around and discuss their feelings. She’s also living with cats and appears to not mind small dogs either.

She’s housebroken, crate trained, and knows her basic commands. And this girl is smart. We think she could go far with some training. Obedience classes? Sure. Agility? Absolutely. She’s got a big body, but she’s actually quite athletic.

Sylvia is unapologetically Syl-
If you think she’s too much for you, she probably is. But if you want a smart, funny, athletic dog with a personality that you’re going to remember, you should probably meet this girl.

She’s currently in foster, so email her foster mom with questions or to meet her
JButera@buffalony.gov
