Sweets's Story

Sweets was thought to be a lost cause because she was so fearful of men. We weren’t so sure so we took her in and put her in a foster home with a man and other dogs and turns out, we were right. She’s a total sweetheart. Don’t get us wrong. She is still very timid and takes a while to warm up, but she now adores her foster dad and has made so much progress meeting new people. This is one of the rare cases where we prefer her to go to a home with other dogs because she loves them and they will help with her confidence. She is good with dog savvy kids who know to give her space. She’s completely potty trained and crate trained and an all-around easy girl. She just needs the right home to thrive. All our dogs are fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and come with six months of heart worm protection.
