Sweetie Pie's Story

**SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY** - Please carefully review Sweetie Pie's bio and only submit an inquiry or application if your household circumstances and experience will meet Sweetie's needs as follows:

Adult only home - No children - No other pets - Fencing required - Sound behavior experience

Sweetie Pie is an approximate 2 year old Bull Dog mix weighing in around 35 pounds whom came to us a year ago very under socialized and exceedingly fearful with aggression tendencies whenever new people or situations were presented. She has worked very hard to gain confidence and has made excellent progress with the love, patience and guidance of her fabulous foster family to overcome her fears and become a sweet, cuddly and comical gal with the potential to be the wonderful companion we know she can be.
To continue with her progress and minimize her fears we are seeking an adult only home with sound behavior experience and the willingness to provide both the love and structure and also manage her fears and issues. For this reason, to both reduce the variables and give her as smooth a transition as possible she must have an adult only home - absolutely no children, no other pets and secure fencing is required.
Sweetie is low activity and a professional napper! She loves nothing more than to curl up on the couch with her people for a cuddle and a lounge. She is happy to go on quiet walks - absolutely no off leash - where she has the opportunity to explore and sniff new places in solitude and safety without the stimulus and distraction of cars, new people, children, bikes and other distractions as she still very much struggles in higher traffic and activity settings. She is house trained and is very tentative about crating but has free roaming privileges in her home with no issues. She is highly food motivated and responds well in combination with positive, calm and consistent re-enforcement.
Sweetie yearns for that special home that will provide her with both love and acceptance for who she is right now in her journey and with patience and understanding you will be rewarded with never ending companionship.

Sweetie's adoption fee is $450. She has been spayed, fully vaccinated and heart worm & tick diseases tested negative. If you have CAREFULLY REVIEWED her bio and If you feel you are the special person or family to welcome Sweetie into your heart and home PLEASE COMPLETE the application found at this link - https://form.jotform.com/72823870527260 to open discussions and learn more about Sweetie and our rescue and adoption process. A volunteer will be happy to help you and we just request your patience as we are volunteers doing our best to handle all the day to day needs of our dogs, our busy rescue and our families.
**PLEASE ALSO NOTE** at this time we will only be considering adoptive placements for Sweetie within our volunteer supported areas of Windsor through London and no cross border applications will be considered.
Thanks everyone!
