Sweetie's Story

Sweetie arrived with an aural (ear flap) hematoma, a blood blister that formed between the cartilage and skin of the ear flap from shaking her head due to an ear infection, suspicious lumps on her back, possibly needing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery and needing a tooth removed. We began treatment on her ear immediately, however after several weeks of treatment the ear flap had to be removed. While Sweetie was under anesthesia for the ear surgery the bumps from her back were removed, she had x-rays taken of her legs, a bad tooth was extracted and had a dental cleaning. The pathology report for the bumps removed from her back showed Trichoepitheliomas (hair follicle tumor) and luckily she does not need to have her ACL repaired. Two weeks later she was treated for an ear infection and was diagnosed with hip dysplasia.<br/>Sweetie is dog and cat friendly and has lived on a ranch with horses and cows. We believe Sweetie is four years old. She is easy going and would do best in a quiet home. She is house and crate trained.
