Sweetie's Story

Sweetie came to us after her owner sadly passed away. She spent two months boarding at a veterinary office, where she was loved by all of the staff. They knew this sweet girl deserved a second chance at a forever home, so they reached out to us.

Sweetie is 212 years old and about 52 pounds. She has the most beautiful brown and tan coat and an even more beautiful personality. Since coming into rescue, Sweetie has quickly become my little shadow. She absolutely loves her people and, once she chooses her person, she wants to be right by their side.

She does great with my kiddos, but because she can be a little unsure at first, she does best with calm, slow introductions so she doesn’t feel overwhelmed. She also does well with other dogs but needs a day or two to get comfortable with them, so we recommend slow introductions with any resident pups.

And for those wondering about the important stuff...Sweetie is house trained, doesn’t chew, and does wonderfully without being kenneled in our home!

Sweetie is:
Spayed
Vaccinated
Dewormed
On flea & tick prevention

Sweetie has already lost the person she loved once. Now we want to make sure her next home is her forever home.
