🐾 Meet Sweetheart 🐾<br/><br/>When Sweetheart arrived at our shelter, she was just a 19-week-old puppy. We thought she'd be one of the first to find a family.<br/><br/>Instead, she grew up here.<br/><br/>Now 8 months old, Sweetheart has spent much of her puppyhood watching other dogs leave while she patiently waits for someone to choose her. She doesn't understand why she's still here--she just knows she's still hoping.<br/><br/>Despite the wait, Sweetheart hasn't let the shelter change her. She's still the happy, playful Labrador Retriever mix who loves to run, explore, and shower people with affection. She has so much love to give and is ready to make someone laugh every single day.<br/><br/>Like any young dog, she'll need continued training and guidance, but she's eager to learn and ready to become the loyal companion she's meant to be.<br/><br/>🎉 BISSELL Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters Event:<br/>💙 Adoption Fee: $70 + tax through July 15<br/>💙 Regular adoption fee: $110 + tax after July 15<br/><br/>Sweetheart has already spent most of her puppyhood waiting behind kennel doors. She deserves to spend the rest of her life knowing what it's like to be someone's beloved best friend. Could you be the one to finally take her home? 💛Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
