Sweet Salem's Story

Sweet Salem is a young female dog (around 3yrs old) 32lbs with a "derpy face" and a sweet and playful personality. She came to the shelter with her mom Harlem, and they are both ready for a new home. While we would love for them to be adopted together, we believe they can do well in separate homes as well.
She is an affectionate and curious dog, and she loves to cuddle up on the couch with her favorite humans. Sweet Salem is friendly and funny; she will make you laugh and smile with her antics. She is a calm dog that turns active with her puppy friends who would love a home where she can get lots of attention and playtime. If you are interested in adopting Sweet Salem, please come to the shelter to meet this sweet girl!

** Shelter staff informs:
While we can't guarantee that this dog is 100% house trained, she is a very clean dog and spends her days in a big outdoor run and nights in her sleeping quarters. We also find no bedtime accidents in the morning. We cannot say with certainty how Salem would do living with children, as she has not lived in a home environment with them yet. However, she has not shown aggression toward any humans at the shelter. As with any dog, we always recommend careful supervision and slow introductions when children are involved.
