Meet Sweet Potato At just under 3 years old, Sweet Potato is exactly what her name suggests—soft, warm, and impossible not to love. This adorable Pit Bull Terrier is currently thriving in a foster home, where she’s proven herself to be just about perfect. Sweet Potato is a mellow, easygoing girl who lives for the simple joys in life: cozy naps, gentle pets, and being right by your side. She’s happiest curled up next to her person, soaking in all the love and giving it right back. While she’s mostly a laid-back cuddlebug, she does have her fun, playful side! She enjoys her daily walks (and even a light jog), loves chasing a ball, and will happily engage in a game of tug-of-war with her favorite toy. It’s the perfect balance of relaxed and playful. She has a great appetite and is treat-motivated, which makes her a wonderful candidate for continued training. Sweet Potato is mostly house trained and does very well with a consistent routine—she currently enjoys about four potty breaks a day, including a couple of short walks. Out and about, Sweet Potato is a social butterfly. She’s friendly with people and enjoys meeting new friends—both human and canine. She greets other dogs with curiosity and excitement, and her gentle demeanor often draws people in for pets (which she absolutely loves!). Sweet Potato would do beautifully in a home where she can be part of the family, whether that means relaxing on the couch, going for strolls, or playing a quick game before settling in for snuggles.
