Sweet Anne's Story

We are looking for a foster-to-adopt home in CT for Sweet Anne!

We rescued Sweet Anne from the shelter. She'd been found roaming and was at risk of being euthanized. She moves with difficulty because she needs surgery on both knees due to luxating patellas (her knee joints slip out of place when she walks). The shelter misdiagnosed that and thought she'd been hit by a car. OAur vet repeated x-rays and found otherwise! We are raising funds to get the surgery done, and would like Anne to relax with a family who will become her forever family once the surgery is completed.

Sweet Anne loves people, could easily live with children 7+ years old (she hasn't been tested with younger children), and enjoys the company of other dogs! She has been around cats and hasn't reacted to them which is a good thing!

Anne just enjoys being loved! She is great on car rides, and while she doesn't move easily, enjoys exploring the yard. A fenced yard will be needed since she cannot go on walks until after her surgery.

Sweet Anne is an amazingly wonderful dog and we want her to find her family quickly. If you would like to be that family, please fill out the application on our website.
