Swayze is an approximately 5-year-old boxer boy, and he is the sweetest, silliest, most lovable “Huggie Bear” you’ll ever meet! This handsome guy is equal parts gentle heart and adorable goofball. He’s incredibly sweet, a little awkward in the most endearing way, and truly just wants to be close to his people.<br/><br/>Swayze is house trained, hasn’t been destructive in the home, and sleeps through the night like a pro. He enjoys being near his humans, has learned how wonderful snuggles are, and settles beautifully once he’s comfy. He walks well using a halter and leash, and he’s generally a quiet boy who doesn’t bark much.<br/><br/>Swayze is gaining confidence with household routines and continues to blossom every day. He loves to give hugs and will sometimes jump up to wrap you in them — it’s incredibly sweet, but he is a strong boy, so continued guidance will be important (especially around children). His “hugging” has already improved greatly with consistency.<br/><br/>Recently we discovered that Swayze has shown discomfort around some men, so a patient adopter and thoughtful introductions will be important as we learn more about that. He truly adores his trusted person and bonds deeply once he feels safe.
