Meet Suzuki<br/><br/>This sweet coonhound-pointer mix is estimated to be around 12-13 months old and currently around 40-45lbs. He had a pretty ruff start to life as he was left in a watermelon box with his 5 other siblings when they were just only a few months old. Over the past few months these pups have been coming out of their shell with our volunteers but are still pretty timid and unsure of new people so he will need some time to overcome his fear of people in his new home. Suzuki is dog friendly and does very well with kids once he warms up to them, however because of his breed he will bark and want to chase after a cat. Despite Suzuki growing up in a shelter environment he is actually self kennel trained and keeps his space very neat and tidy. He loves to play and is getting the hang of walking on a leash as well. Suzuki would make a great family dog and would love to find his furever home. <br/><br/>Suzuki has had all his puppy vaccinations and is neutered. <br/><br/>Adoption fee: $85<br/><br/>Applications: www.maxshope.com<br/><br/>Please include your veterinarian name, number and the name your current pets are listed under. Also please check your information carefully. All current pets must be up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered. Dogs must be on heart worm preventative. Our adoptable cats must live inside and adopters must agree not to declaw. If these criteria are not met, we will not process your application.<br/><br/>Adoption Process: This is not a first come, first serve organization. We will do our best to process applications within 48 business hours of receiving them. The application must be completed in full including first and last name, complete address including city and state, complete veterinarian information (this will be checked and all pets must be neutered or spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and dogs must be current on heartworm prevention) and the name of all current pets in the household. We are 100% volunteers and I will not subject anyone who is giving of themselves and their time to hostile conversations. Please be patient with us. We are not paid for our endless hours and are looking for the BEST home for the babies in our care. We will process your information and an email will be sent to the email you provide on the application.
