Suzie

We pulled Suzie from the Casey County animal shelter in Liberty, KY back in July. She was a mess. Emaciated, with mange, Lyhme and every worm in the book; older than the hills with worn down teeth and clearly used as a breeder her entire life. She was in heat and miserable too.<br/><br/>She's much better now, as you can see. Her coat is thick and shiny, she's at a proper weight, and loves the routine living in a house full of foster dogs. And she's finally spayed, which has really brightened her personality! <br/><br/>Suzie is energetic, even goofily boisterous now. She LOVES toys! Especially squeaky toys. She loves to chase balls and chew on stuffingless squirrels, and she delights in stashing as many toys in her crate as she can.<br/><br/>We adore Suzie. She is looking for a special person that cares about old, thrown away dogs, and wants to give her a soft landing spot for her final years. With toys! And lots of play! Because she's finally getting to enjoy being a dog.<br/><br/>Suzy is housebroken, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. Would chase real squirrels if she could. Mostly quiet, barks like a hound only when necessary. A real love bug. <br/><br/>This regal old lady would like to add her special grace and joy to someone's home and life.
