Suzie's Story

Hi! My name is Suzie and I am a 1 year old, 32 pound hound mix. I look a lot like a miniature foxhound, but the jury is still out on that. I was saved from death row in a rural SC county shelter and am looking for my forever family. I am crate trained, get along really well with other dogs, and am gentle with children. I love to play with stuffed toys, and once the stuffing is gone, I still play with them. I also love chew bones and tennis balls. Aside from playing with my toys, two other favorite activities include going for long walks and sunbathing! I do still have some puppishness in me. I play for about 2 hours a day and then am content just enjoying nature or napping. One thing I would like in my new home is a fenced in yard so I can run and play. I think I would do well as an only dog or with another one to play with. I will wrap this up by telling you that if you make me a member of your family, you will not be disappointed. I am curious, cuddly, and loving and would love to have the opportunity to show you. If you are interested in making Suzie a mamber of your family, please visit barcse.org and complete an adoption application.
