Suzie - #20040668 - AL's Story

Age: 11 Year, 0 Month
Details: House Broken, Crate Trained, Obedience Trained, OK with Dogs
Location: Remlap, Alabama
Email Address: Rebecca Rockwell-Wallace
rr071646@gmail.com

Online Adoption Application
www.americanbrittanyrescue.org
https://americanbrittanyrescue.org/adoption-application/

Help me, help me! Please, someone save me from Rescue and Herself. The first thing she said to me was, "My, what a little fatty". I replied, "My, what a head of gray hair" but I don't think she heard me. Next, she put me on the Green Bean Diet. I fooled her because I didn't eat for two whole days; and then when I did, I picked out the green beans. Herself is nothing if not persistent because she said when I got hungry enough, I'd eat everything including the green beans. I hate that she is right.

So, I'm with this gray headed, green bean feeding person because my Dad died and They didn't want me, put me outside. A local rescue lady felt sorry for me, an indoor gal put out in the cold, and called ABR. Dr. Mac says I'm in great health except for two things: my weight (body shaming) and I have stomatitis. I'll wait while ya'll turn to Google to find out what that is. Do, do, do, do. Do, do, do, do. Ya'll back? And yes, I'm a Southern gal, so it's a mouth thing common in cats. I have to take pills when it flares up but Doc siad is was no big deal.

You get the picture - that I am a tad overweight; I drool every now and then and will need pills when I do. But other than those few little things, I'm a great girl! I love everyone. I love to take rides. My manners are above reproach. I'm housebroken and crate trained and am pretty good at bathtime. Oh, and I have a wonderful long tail. Oh, oh, and I love to be petted and fussed over. So, if you have room in your home for a practically perfect old girl, I'm more than willing to come stay!

Suzie

P.S. Oh, oh, and if one of your hands needs something to do or is tired, I'm willing to just stand beside you and let you rest your hand on my head. Hands can get heavy and need a place to rest.
