She's approximately 40ish pounds and can curl up into such a tiny ball on the couch.

Suzie has come so far since coming into our home. She started off scared of the hardwood floors and was unable to walk on them without a rug. She is now able to walk and play confidently. She is now also able to walk into her kennel with the help of a small treat, before someone would have to pick her up and put her in and she wouldn't even eat the treat. She has learned sit, especially at food times before her bowl is put on the floor. She is still working on remembering what "Sit" means when it is not food time. It's been amazing watching her confidence grow!

She loves exploring outside in the backyard, but she is an absolute fence digger and it does not take much for her to slip right under a chain length fence that is not buried into the ground. Her current fosters have bought stakes to help deter her, but she will walk all the fence lines and look for the weak spots, and quickly dig to try and escape. Even the stretch of wood fence she has dug to try and go under. Her foster family uses a tie out when they are unable to watch her 100% of the time, but she loves having the opportunity to romp with the other dogs and run around.

She loves going on daily walks to get all the sniffs! Her nose stays to the ground for so much of the walk. She used to be nervous about crossing roads, but that fear is pretty much gone as well. She walks pretty well with a harness, and is at more of a brisk pace, unless she has to stop and really smell a spot.

When she is not playing with the dogs or toys, she likes to sneak upstairs to a bed and take a nice quiet nap. She is a great couch potato snuggler as well. She is fairly quiet when seeing other dogs out the window and on walks and only really gets excited when the other dogs do.

She is looking for a loving home that will take her for daily walks, cuddle with her on the couch and/or bed, and understands that the backyard must be well secured at the bottom and that she needs to be watched to keep her safe.
