Suzanna

Meet the sugary sweet Suzanna, who loves nothing more than to hang around the property and soak up the sun. Suzanna is fairly mellow and walks excellent on leash; we think she might know some basic commands already too. We can't say this enough- Suzanna loves to be outdoors! She is very anxious inside and our guess is she was an outdoor dog before finding herself in the shelter. Once outside, Suzanna is a happy girl and very content to lounge and watch the day go by. She watches the shelter happenings from our outdoor dog run during the day and we think she'd love to watch over your barn or porch. We don't normally adopt out outdoor-specific dogs, but we think in Suzanna's case, that's where she'd be happiest (with appropriate shelter of course). Suzanna has mingled well with the other dogs at the shelter and although not overly playful, she can hang around them no problem as long as they respect her space. We've also had her around children (~10 years old) and she's done wonderfully.
