A couple of years ago, she lost her mom. More recently, she lost her dad too.<br/><br/>After her dad passed away, Susie escaped and made her way back to the only home she had ever known.<br/>She was found lying in the grass, faithfully waiting for her family to come home. <br/><br/>Now it's our turn to keep the promise we made when she was adopted all those years ago.. to find her another forever family.<br/><br/>And Susie has so much life left to share!!<br/><br/>Her foster describes her as energetic, funny, incredibly smart, and happiest when she's with her people. She'll happily follow you from room to room because she simply loves being part of whatever you're doing.<br/><br/>She LOVES toys and playing fetch.<br/><br/>She gets along well with other dogs and even cats, though she can get a little excited during playtime.<br/><br/>She has perfect house manners and hasn't had a single accident.<br/><br/>She's a medium-sized girl and is full of playful energy that's sure to make you smile.<br/><br/>After years as an only dog, she's discovering just how much fun it is to play, and it's been so special to watch her personality shine! <br/><br/>Susie has already experienced heartbreaking loss.
