Meet Susie!<br/><br/>Susie is an adorable 6 month old Chihuahua/Poodle mix weighing just 45 pounds. This tiny little girl is expected to stay very small, likely maturing at 10 pounds or less. With her sweet nature and loving personality, Susie is ready to find a forever family of her own.<br/><br/>Susie came to rescue after an accidental litter was surrendered when her family could no longer care for the puppies. Since arriving in foster care, she has been surrounded by love and has been blossoming more every day. Her foster mom absolutely adores her and describes her as an incredibly sweet puppy with so much potential.<br/><br/>While Susie can be a little shy when first meeting new people or experiencing new situations, she warms up beautifully with patience and kindness. Once she feels comfortable, she absolutely loves being held, cuddled, and showered with affection. She forms strong bonds with her people and enjoys being close to those she trusts.<br/><br/>Because Susie is still building confidence, we would love to see her adopted into a home of her own rather than with one of her siblings. Having her own family will help her continue to grow into a confident, independent little dog and allow her to form a strong bond with her adopters.<br/><br/>Susie does well with other dogs, especially smaller dogs that dont overwhelm her. Due to her tiny size, larger dogs can sometimes make her nervous. She is also perfectly fine with cats. Because she can be timid at first, a home with older, respectful children or adults would be ideal.<br/><br/>She is doing an excellent job with pad training and uses her puppy pads consistently. Shes also working on learning to potty outside. At night, Susie sleeps comfortably in her crate and has been doing very well with her routine.<br/><br/>Susie is a sweet, sensitive little puppy who simply needs a family willing to give her patience, love, and encouragement as she continues to grow.
