MEET SURYAH! STATS: 4 years old, spayed, Shepherd Mix, 66 lbs AFFECTION/ENERGY LEVEL: I am such a sweetie and I love a good snuggle! I have a medium amount of energy – I do like to play, but I am on the more laid-back side. I will play with other low-key dogs, but I am not the biggest fan of the wild and crazy puppies. I will often respectfully tell them to “calm down” – there is no need for chaos when we are just trying to enjoy a relaxing time outdoors! I am extremely sweet and affectionate with people and love sitting close to you! WHAT I LOVE: I love enjoying walks outside, relaxing in the sunshine, running around a bit, and spending time with my people. I am very food and attention motivated, so I would be great if you want someone to teach new tricks to! KIDS: While I haven’t been formally tested with kids at the shelter, the staff thinks my sweet and lower energy shows that I would be good with kids who are gentle, kind, and respectful towards me. OTHER DOGS: I am dog friendly and go to the low-key playgroup every day at the shelter! CATS: Unknown HER MATCH: I would do wonderfully in a home with a family that will give me the love I so desperately crave, I am not a marathon runner or anything, so I don’t need to go on hikes for miles daily. I would be perfectly content with either a yard I can play in for a little or walks to potty and enjoy the fresh air. I would most likely be your couch potato buddy (Netflix and cuddle, anyone?) so if that’s more your vibe, come meet me! SPECIAL NOTE: I have the most beautiful amber-brown eyes! Once you complete the app, a staff member will call you in 1-2 business days once approved to set up a time for you to meet the pet you are interested in. Every adoptable pet is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1-year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention, and heartworm prevention for dogs. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. Adoptions are matched based on best placement and require no negative animal history.
