Sunshine

Oh let us count the ways we love a good yellow lab!!

Sunshine is appropriately named... She is indeed a ray of sunshine!!

Relatively small for a lab at under 60 pounds, she is just under 2 years old, hence fully grown. She was found as a stray, and her family never came looking for her, sadly, but their loss is your gain!

She is a super sweet girl who loves attention. She is pretty laid back, although she does love to play as well. Squeaky toys are among her favorite things, and so are belly rubs, chewy bones, and snuggles.

Sunshine will let you know if she thinks you ought to give her more attention with a polite bark, but otherwise she's fairly quiet. She's good on a leash and would love to just hang out on the sofa with you.

She is very much a typical lab... smart, goofy, sweet, and snuggly. She does great with other dogs, but we're not sure about cats. She is just hap, hap, happy!

Sunshine has a suggested adoption donation of $300.

If you're looking for a lab, look no further, this dog is a gem. This is a courtesy post, and this dog is safe at the Happy Furever dog sanctuary. Come meet Sunshine today!

NOTE: This dog is located in Texas where sadly our shelters are forced to euthanize about 100,000 adoptable pets annually simply due to too many animals and not enough homes. Hence we network our dogs across the country to improve their chances for a swift adoption. This pet can easily be transported to you though most anywhere in the US - it is $100 for a health certificate mandated for crossing state lines and then up to $250 for ground transport, depending on where you live. Sometimes we are able to get transport free of charge depending on where you live. Grand total would be about $650 ($300 adoption fee, $100 health cert, and up to $250 transport). Trust us, this dog is worth it.
