Sunny

Sunny is a 5-year-old, 65-pound Australian Cattle Dog with so much sweetness and energy! As you can see, he has some wonderful uniqueness about him. His right eye is placed a little different than other dogs, making him extra special. This doesn't cause him any trouble at all, and it just adds to his charm.<br/><br/>Sunny is new to our shelter, having been transferred from another Minnesota rescue. He used to be a great family dog, but he became a little too protective of the children in his home. While he absolutely loves kids, he wanted to protect them a little too much. Because of this, he needs an adopter who can help him build good boundaries and reassure him that he doesn't need to be on guard duty all the time.<br/><br/>Here at the shelter, Sunny is a ray of sunshine! He loves to run outside to sniff the fresh air and check out all the fun things around him. He has made some dog friends here, but he prefers submissive dogs who don't jump on him. He's already potty trained and happily sits for a treat! This friendly guy is ready to join a family again.<br/><br/>Sunny is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. You can visit him at the shelter Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 to 5:00 PM.
