These sweet Lab/Pointer mix puppies didn't get the start to life they deserved. They were found dumped in the woods, emaciated, starving, and suffering from a heartbreaking case of demodex mange. Their little bodies were covered in hair loss and irritated skin, and when they first arrived, they were so shut down that it was hard to see the playful puppies hiding underneath it all. But something amazing has already started to happen. With good food, antibiotics, medicated baths, and lots of love and care, these babies are fighting their way back. Their skin is already beginning to improve, and as they get stronger and feel better, their personalities are starting to peek through. Those scared, defeated little puppies are slowly becoming the happy, playful babies they were always meant to be. They still have a long way to go. Their demodex has caused significant hair loss, and they will need continued treatment and patience as their skin heals and their coats grow back. But they are already showing us that they are ready for a second chance. And honestly? After everything they've been through, watching their little tails start to wag and their personalities begin to shine is pretty incredible. Demodex is not contagious, and these puppies are receiving the medical care they need to get healthy. What they need now is someone willing to look past the hair loss and see the beautiful, deserving puppies underneath. They were dumped and forgotten in the woods.
