Meet Sunny!

Miss Sunny is looking for a new family. She is listed as a Retriever mix weighing in at a gentle 60lbs and a young 10 years old.

Sunny has a story her eyes will tell. She lost her human mom when she entered assisted living and the family dumped her at the local shelter.

Sunny has joined our rescue family and this is what we know so far. This girl is a tad reserved but curious at the moment. All of these life changes has her wondering about her future.

Sunny is kind and loving. She loves to be petted and doted on. She is great with her dog friends and her senior legs still offer a play session with her friends.

Sunny’s best home would include no children or possibly older children, as she is just getting settled. This senior would love a quiet environment where humans can show her a best new life. She appears house trained. A crate is for sure not needed.

A southern girl with the most spectacular brown eyes. Just looking for a soft landing spot.

Sunny is available for adoption through Ma Paws & Me Pet Rescue based out
of Watertown, WI. Sunny is spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, up to date on all age appropriate vaccines, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

All Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue dogs are in homes with foster families; we do not have a shelter where dogs are available for daily viewing.

Our process is as follows:
1. Review our policies and adoption radius on our website: http://mapawsmepetrescue.com/adopt/
2. Submit an application for review and approval;
3. MPM Rescue reviews application and checks vet records and references;
4. MPM foster contacts approved applicant(s) to arrange a home check and meeting with available dog(s);
5. If there is a good fit, adoption is completed with a contract and fees (payable via check or cash).

Dogs from Ma, Paws & Me Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
- Spay/Neuter surgery
- Age appropriate vaccinations
- Heartworm test (for dogs over 6mo) and treatment if positive
- Microchip
- Deworming
- Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
- Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian
