Meet Sunny,<br/><br/>Sunny came to us from TX and was in pretty rough shape at the shelter and was facing euthanasia. Now he is safe with us and has come a long way already. His skin was badly sunburned from being in the TX sun. Originally he was listed as a red by the shelter but he is a fawn and his hair is coming back nicely with care. He is currently going through heartworm treatment and already has his first injection. He will go back in a few more weeks for his next injection and hopefully he is clear after that. He will need to stay on heart worm prevent for the rest of his life and has already been given Proheart 12 so will be good for several months after adoption on prevention. <br/><br/>Regardless of what this boy has been through he is still the sweetest boy you will ever meet. We are estimating him to be around 5 years old. He does need some obedience work but know sit and walks decent on leash. This boy has never met a stranger and loves everyone he meets. He is not good with cats as we have discovered.
