Sunni's Story

What a time our Sunni has had... this poor baby was adopted three months ago, and was unceremoniously dumped back at our sanctuary last Friday. No hint at this coming, we thought she was coming back to board over the weekend, but upon arrival it became clear that she was being dumped and the reasoning was lack of training... lack of training is not on Sunni to be clear, this is entirely human error. This poor girl needs someone who is going to love her, give her stability, and help her thrive again. She loves the sanctuary but she Is absolutely adoptable and would love a forever home. She is part shepherd, and is headstrong so someone who is ready to help a girl out, and do some steady training, would be great! Someone who will not give up on her when the going gets tough, because that is just rude! She is great with other dogs, fine with dog savvy cats, house trained, crate trained, and typically of German shepherds she is a loudmouth outside with other dogs. She is a really good girl, who behaves beautifully here at the sanctuary and does not understand why people have let her down so much in her short life, of about a year. Sunni is between 40-45 lbs. <br/>If you are serious about meeting her, and helping her be her best self, please send in an application!
