Sun's Story

Meet Sun!

Sun is estimated to be a one-year-old, 55-pound spayed female hound mix who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and discover just how wonderful life can be. She was found abandoned in an apartment with her nine puppies, but despite everything she has been through, Sun is learning to trust, love, and enjoy being a dog.

Sun is potty trained, great on a leash, and loves car rides! She absolutely loves being outside, playing and exploring. Once she finds her person, she wants to stay close and follow them around-she's happiest when she knows her person is nearby.

She is good with kids and has met a few other dogs. She did well with them, although she hasn't had a lot of experience with other dogs yet. She's still young, and with continued positive socialization, we think Sun has everything it takes to become a social butterfly!

Sun has already come out of her shell so much in her foster home. She's still learning what it means to be a companion and that she doesn't have to worry about her past anymore. She deserves someone who will be patient with her, help her build confidence, and show her that she is finally safe and loved.

Sun is microchipped and up to date on her vaccinations, flea prevention, and heartworm prevention, so she's ready to start her next chapter with her forever family. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is being fostered in Tampa.

Sun has spent enough time surviving. Now it's her turn to shine. Could you be the person who helps her do just that?

If you're interested in adopting Sun, please complete an adoption form at https://www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt

If you've applied with us previously, please send an email to Info@Love4PawsFL.org.
