Summer's Story

Meet Summer Summer is around 1.5 years old and 52 lbs, and she's the kind of dog who just wants to be right by your side through it all. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for a walk, she's happiest when she's with her people.
She's a medium energy girl who enjoys her walks (and does great on leash!) but is just as content soaking up attention and asking for her favorite thing... deep neck scratches. Seriously, she will melt for them

Summer is also cat friendly. And if you happen to have apples around... you'll have her full attention
If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will stick by your side and fill your days with love, Summer might be your girl

We utilize a foster to adopt process, whereby dogs are placed with a prospective family following the acceptance of their application including a vet reference check and a home check. Following foster placement the rescue follows up with the family to ensure it is a good fit for the dog and family's respective wants and needs. If the foster period is successful, the adoption can be formalized with an adoption contract.
