We'll have several wonderful dogs there looking for homes!<br/><br/>———————<br/><br/>SULLY is a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix weighing 58 lbs.<br/><br/>Sully is still waiting for someone to realize what an incredible dog he is. And honestly… we can’t believe he hasn’t been chosen yet.<br/><br/>This boy has such a soft, gentle soul. He’s the kind of dog that quietly stays by your side, happy just to be included and loved.<br/><br/>Sully came from a heartbreaking situation, found living outside in an overgrown backyard with his mama and brother. Life wasn’t kind to him early on, but somehow he still has the sweetest heart.<br/><br/>He loves car rides, walks so nicely on a leash, and enjoys playing with other dogs. He would do best in a home without cats or small kiddos. But his favorite thing is simple: being close to his people. Give him a comfy bed, a calm home, and a little love, and he’s happy.<br/><br/>The hardest part is knowing how easy Sully is to love once you meet him. He’s affectionate, playful, and calm in a way that just makes you exhale. All he wants is someone who will love him, include him, and give him the life he’s always deserved.<br/><br/>He’s waited far too long for that person to come along.<br/><br/>If you can’t adopt but want to foster please fill out our foster application: https://www.kckpd.org/Animal-Services/Foster-a-Pet<br/><br/><br/>ADOPTING A PET<br/>We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend. Please visit our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/FriendsofKCKAS/ for more info about weekend adoption hours, events and available pets. <br/><br/>We are also open Monday through Friday by appointment. Please contact us by phone at 913-321-1445 or by email at petadoptions@kckpd.org to schedule your appointment during weekdays.<br/><br/>If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match.<br/><br/>Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older).<br/><br/>FOSTERING<br/>Can't commit to adoption but still want to help us save lives?
