Sully's Story

Meet Sully (fka Watson)! Sully originally came to CCHS with his brother, Sherlock, earlier this February from a local farm. He was adopted out shortly after that and brought back this August as the kiddos in his home gave him quite the anxiety. This Heeler mix is about 8 months old and weighs 31.2lbs currently. Sully is a naturally inquisitive pup that always seems to have his nose to the ground! He is always seeking out a new adventure and would love to share his next one with you! Because of the high stress he experienced being surrounded by a multitude of small children in his first home, Sully would do better in a home with older kids that can be more mindful of his space. While we aren't entirely sure what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you he is 100% your newest sidekick! With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important to the pup. Apply for Sully today!

Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response.

The adoption fee is $250. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS.
