Suki's Story

Meet Suki, aka Suki the Aruban Princess!

Suki is a beautiful 5-year-old, 55-pound Cunucu mix from Aruba who is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and currently thriving in foster care in New England.

Suki is an incredibly loving, goofy, and sweet girl who really just wants to be someone’s everything. She loves being wherever her people are, whether that means cuddling on the couch, tagging along for an adventure, enjoying a leisurely stroll on the beach, or simply hanging out while you go about your day. Give her some companionship, affection, and a delicious snackie, and Suki is one happy girl.

She’s a low-to-medium-energy pup with the perfect balance of playful and cuddly. She’s been great with kids and absolutely loves being part of the family. Suki can initially be a little unsure of some men, but she’s making great progress as her amazing foster continues to help her build confidence.

Suki can do well around other dogs and has enjoyed one-on-one playdates with canine friends, especially when everyone respects each other’s space. At home, though, Suki seems to prefer having her humans to herself, so we think she would be happiest as the only dog in her forever home. She has also been fine around cats who give her space and are content doing their own thing.

And if her personality doesn’t win you over, her looks just might. Suki is truly one of a kind, right down to the heart-shaped marking on her back.

Suki has been waiting for more than two years for someone to finally choose her. She has so much love to give and is more than ready for the stability, security, and love of a family of her very own.

If you’re looking for a loyal, goofy, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Suki might just be the girl you’ve been waiting for. We really hope someone finally realizes that Suki is the girl they’ve been waiting for, too.
