SUKI's Story
Suki (A142906) is an 8-month-old AK Husky x Hound mix who weighed 34.3 pounds on intake! 07/29/26 This little lady is Suki! Suki is a bit on the skittish side and is looking for a home with the patience to work with her. It was noted that she has separation anxiety and can become destructive if left alone. We encourage her next owner to reach out to their vet for advice on the best ways to help her with her anxiety. Suki was known to enjoy digging outdoors and is a super chewer – she will defluff fabric toys quickly and loves gnawing on silicone hard toys! In typical husky fashion, Suki was known to be quite the talker. It was noted that she is an indoor dog, but is not housebroken or kennel-trained yet. Suki was said to do well with other dogs and was described as submissive. When it comes to cats, in typical husky fashion she finds them fun to chase (which not all kitties appreciate). Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new animals. Suki may be a bit of a project pup, but she is a young girl with lots of potential for the right person! If you are interested in meeting Suki, please let us know!
