Sugar's Story
Meet Sugar, a sweet and fluffy ~2-4 year old spayed female spitz/Pomeranian mix, weighing about 13 lbs!

This pretty girl is a bit on the timid/shy side, but she warms up quickly once she knows you are safe. She is good with other dogs, cats, people, and kids.

From Sugar's current foster:

"Sugar is just the best dog. It's going to be a tough goodbye when she eventually gets adopted. I took her with me to a friends house for Thanksgiving dinner. She wowed them! Absolutely perfect house manners, so sweet, and she did her twirling dance for them. While sad, I'm hoping she finds her perfect forever home."

She is medically up to date, housebroken (expect accidents the first few days while adjusting to a new home/routine), and crate trained. Apply to meet sweet Sugar today!

Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
