Sugar is a hearing impaired itty bitty pitty. Despite her hearing loss she is very keen on her surroundings, she responds to vibrations and visuals and learns routines very well. She is submissive to other dogs and would do best with another pup to show her the ropes or a very dedicated family to teach her how to live her best life regardless of her hearing loss. We expect this condition is permanent and is actually fairly common in white dogs. Now normally we wouldn’t share this next bit but we think it’s kinda cute in an awkward kinda gross way only dog people might understand. Sugar poops Hershey kisses. Yup. This pint sized pup poops Hershey kisses. She scoots her butt so close to the ground that the result resembles Hershey kisses. Honestly we aren’t surprised, this girl is pure love and incredibly sweet.<br/>Sugar is an absolute love bug! She loves to play with other dogs, but afterwards is more than happy to just lay on the couch for a nap or snuggle with you. She is very in tune to you, and will look to you for direction or follow you if you leave the room. She truly enjoys being near her people, and is incredibly adaptable to home life. She is curious of her surroundings, but doesn't stray far from where you are. She seems to be able to hear high pitched sounds, and was responsive to a whistle several times. Regardless of her hearing loss, she is able to learn quickly and seems eager to please. She is very calm, affectionate, and gentle. She was given a bath and only once tried to leave it! She did amazingly well during her bath and afterwards. She loves treats and using food as a motivator while training would likely be very successful!
