Sugar is a 4 to 5 year old, 12 lb. female Shih Tzu. This pretty gold and white girl is a retired breeder. She came to us with a scar from an old eye injury, and may have some vision loss, but this does not impede her in any way. Sugar was heartworm positive and has been treated in rescue. She is potty pad trained, and will also walk on a leash. Sugar gets long well with other dogs and children. Sugar has small nasal openings so she snorts and snores, which can be quite adorable.
