Sugar has been around other dogs and did well, but she has not met cats or children. Slow and proper introductions are always recommended when bringing a new pet home!<br/><br/>This young dog is friendly and has so much potential to blossom in a loving home! Sugar may be a little nervous when meeting new people or experiencing new things, but with a little patience, gentle encouragement, and time to settle in, her confidence will continue to grow.<br/><br/><br/>Sugar is still working on her potty training. Positive reinforcement and a consistent routine will help this young girl succeed in her new home. Praise, treats, and plenty of encouragement when she goes outside will help build confidence and make learning a positive experience. Regular potty breaks, especially after meals, naps, and playtime, will help them learn what's expected.<br/><br/>*Adoption holds may be placed on available animals in person or by calling (320) 252-0896. An adoption hold reserves available animals for one day after the animal is ready to be adopted. More than one adoption hold may be placed on an available animal and will be honored in the order they were received. Adoption holds are $25 plus tax, are non-refundable, non-transferable and not applied toward the adoption fee.<br/><br/>**Minnesota sales tax and an administrative fee ($20 for cats/dogs and $10 for small animals) will be applied to all adoptions. Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, microchipping, vaccinating, deworming, any medical procedures, and general care of all shelter animals.
