Stu's Story

Meet handsome Stu! This huge senior gentleman found himself at animal control and while we don't know his backstory, we know he had clearly been neglected for some time, as he was emaciated, had skin, eye and ear infections, and sores on his legs. He has recovered beautifully and now weighs about 125 lbs. He does have some arthritis pain in his knees (the vet said he likely tore both ACLs at some point - poor guy!) so we have him on Gabepentin and Carprofen for that.
If you are a lover of giant breeds, Stu could be your boy! He is surprisingly playful for his age (aprrox 6 yrs old) and gets along with other dogs. He loves walks, time outside, and most of all, being with his person!
Stu has been fully vetted and his adoption fee is $200.
The pics and video are from one week after we first took him in. You can clearly see he is underweight and has terrible skin ... we will be updating the pics and video soon!
If you would like to consider adopting Stu, please email us at: fivefreedomfarm@gmail.com
