Strider's Story

Strider is a young male, approximately 1 year old, who was found as a stray, wearing a zip-tied collar that had to be cut off. He was threatened with being shot just for being a stray, until a kind neighbor stepped in and saved him. Thanks to their quick action, Strider is now in our care, and we’re eager to get him out of the kennel and into a loving home.

Despite his rough start, Strider arrived incredibly grateful and immediately sought out attention from people and other dogs. He’s shown himself to be social, friendly, and eager to connect.

While he was roaming he spent Easter with a group of kids and adults ages 5–13 and interacted appropriately with no aggression or roughness. He soaked up the attention and loved being part of the neighborhood crowd.

After everything he’s been through, we’re focused on finding the right fit to set him up for long-term success.
