Strawberry Frosted's Story

Welcome The Barker`s Dozen litter! They are an adorable and sweet group of puppies who came to Murci's Mission from Best Friend`s Animal Society in SLC. Strawberry Frosted has an estimated birthdate of 4/20/2026. These babies are breed and health DNA tested. They are predominantly Cattle Dog.

Embark Health Summary: The sibling puppy Apple Fritter from this litter tested clear for 271 genetic health conditions. The results identified one genetic variant associated with an increased risk of IVDD (a spinal disc condition). This is not a diagnosis, and many dogs with this variant live normal, active lives. Knowing about it simply allows owners and their veterinarian to focus on maintaining a healthy weight, good muscle condition, and overall spinal health. The test also identified a notable ALT (GPT) result, which may affect liver enzyme values on routine bloodwork but does not indicate liver disease. Overall, these results provide helpful information for proactive, informed veterinary care and do not directly impact this puppy.

These babies are ready for their next adventure and would be a great fit for an adopter who has room at home, love to give, and a bit of patience to help them adjust to household life and being handled by people. They're happy, healthy, and playful!

Each puppy comes spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. The adoption fee is $300 and includes a sample of the food they've been eating and their medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.

Embark Health Summary: This puppy tested clear for 271 genetic health conditions. Murci's Mission 's Adoption Policy
Thank you for choosing to apply with Murci's Mission! We are a foster based 501c3 that specializes in animals with medical and behavioral needs. We do not have a facility or set hours of operation. To be considered to adopt with us, your first step will be to submit an adoption application. From there we will read through our application and make sure that we feel like you and your household will be a good match for your desired pet. If we feel that you are a good match, we will contact you via phone or email to ask any questions we may have and to let you know that we are beginning the process of screening your application. We will then call your references and vet, and finally schedule a meet and greet with you at a time that works for you at your place of residence where we will perform a brief homecheck to ensure there are no immediate dangers to the pet. In most cases, adoption can take place at the end of the meet and greet. For particularly shy pets, or pets that may need more time to warm up to resident animals, additional meet and greets may need to take place. We look forward to meeting you and thank you immensely for choosing to adopt.
