Stormy is a lovely young pup with a sweet disposition. She may take a minute to warm up to new people, but once she does, she melts right in for affection and will come back to you again and again for reassurance and cuddles. She is a gentle soul who just needs a bit more socialization to flourish.<br/><br/>Stormy was born March 2, 2025 in a loving home after an accidental litter. She is now looking for her forever home where she can grow and thrive. She is a mix of sheepdog, black lab and german shepherd.<br/><br/>Stormy has a lot of positive characteristics:<br/>Affectionate and snuggly once she knows you<br/>Ball obsessed and she brings it back!<br/>Great in the car<br/>Good with handling all over. She did great at her recent vet visit.<br/>Not reactive on leash<br/>She knows sit<br/>Good with other dogs living in her home and at the dog park<br/>Currently 61b<br/><br/>She does have some prey drive (especially toward squirrels), and she can jump up when excited. She will require continued training and socialization. An adopter with a house and fully fenced yard is recommended so she can have outdoor time in between walks. She will require a lot of exercise and outdoor playtime to help keep her happy and healthy. <br/><br/>She hasn’t had many experiences outside the home and is a little under-socialized, but she warms up once she is comfortable. The is ball and food driven and will be a bit standoffish at first but her foster home reports that she is very cuddly and affectionate. <br/><br/>Because she is a little under socialized and hasn't spent any time with children, we are recommending an adult home with experienced owners.<br/><br/>Stormy is up to date with her vaccine, has been microchipped and is spayed.
