Stormy's Story
Stormy is a lovely young pup with a sweet disposition. She may take a minute to warm up to new people, but once she does, she melts right in for affection and will come back to you again and again for reassurance and cuddles. She is a gentle soul who just needs a bit more socialization to flourish.

Stormy was born March 2, 2025 in a loving home after an accidental litter. She is now looking for her forever home where she can grow and thrive. She is a mix of sheepdog, black lab and german shepherd.

Stormy has a lot of positive characteristics:
Affectionate and snuggly once she knows you
Ball obsessed and she brings it back!
Great in the car
Good with handling all over. She did great at her recent vet visit.
Not reactive on leash
She knows sit, working on paw and recall
Good with the other dogs in her home
Currently 61lb

She does have some prey drive (especially toward squirrels), and she can jump up when excited. She will require continued training and socialization. An adopter with a house and fully fenced yard is recommended so she can have outdoor time in between walks. She will require a lot of exercise and outdoor playtime to help keep her happy and healthy.

She hasn’t had many experiences outside the home and is a little under-socialized, but she warms up quickly and at this time, shows every sign of becoming a confident, loving companion.

Stormy has just had her first set of booster vaccines (DHPP) and rabies vaccine. She is negative for heart worm and tick borne diseases. She was recently in heat and will be spayed and microchipped in a couple of weeks.

Please see our website (mailto:info@adoptadogsavealife.com) for information about our rescue. Our adoption process includes an online application, a telephone interview, a home visit (virtual or in person), reference checks and a meeting with the dog. If you have a resident dog, a meet and greet will be necessary.

An adoption fee of $500.00 applies.
Stormy is fostered in a home in Pickering, ON
