She has a playful, puppy-like energy and a big personality packed into a small body.<br/><br/>Stormi had a rough start to life. She was surrendered to a high-kill shelter after being used for breeding, and heartbreakingly, she arrived still producing milk from her puppies, who were not there when she was surrendered. Despite this difficult beginning, Stormi remains hopeful, playful, and ready to start a new chapter but this could also explain some of why she is unsure and really needs time to adjust in her new home. <br/><br/>She bonds deeply with her person and prefers being close if possible—Stormi enjoys sleeping with her human and cuddling whenever she gets the chance.<br/><br/>Stormi has playful energy, is very food-motivated, and enjoys toys, LOVES balls, treats, and snuggles. She will potty outside, and when indoors she is pad-trained if she can’t get out. She has also been left alone without chewing or destroying items. Stormi has also been cat tested and does fine with the feline friends. <br/><br/>Stormi is spayed, had a recent dental, is up to date on vaccines/flea/tick/heartworm prevention and is microchipped. <br/><br/>IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS:<br/><br/>- The first step towards adoption is to complete an adoption application, which can be found online at our website www.roadtriprescues.com, under the “ADOPT” tab.<br/><br/>- Do not use the Petfinder links or email to ask us about our adoptable dog listings - we do not always receive these messages and will not respond to them.<br/><br/>- Please do not ask if a dog is still available - we do our best to update their status as quickly as possible.
