Storm - ECAS's Story

Forecast: 100% chance of smiles with STORM!

Don't let my name fool you, I'm pure sunshine in dog form! I'm a beautiful five-year-old Pit Bull mix girl with a white and red merle coat, two matching white socks , one soulful brown eye, and one as bright as a clear blue sky. I weigh 64lbs and my athletic build shows I'm up for any adventure (hiking, walking, and just hanging by your side). My volunteer pals say my smile is as big as my heart, and you'll rarely see me without my signature megawatt smile. I've been told it brightens even the gloomiest day.

No better way to start the day than with sunshine (but don't worry-no matter the weather we'll shine together). Once we're outdoors, I can't help but grin ear to ear and show you my imitation of the Energizer bunny! I love to get my energy out by playing in the yard, reading my daily pee-mails, and doing wind sprints along the fence. I love to roll over on my back, kick my legs up, and let my tongue hang out! I know my volunteer pals get a kick out of watching me bust out my breakdancing moves and zoomies! Occasionally I'll let a fellow doggo follow my lead, but I do prefer that some of them admire me from a distance. I usually bark either to say "hello, let's play!" or to ask them to stay back. So, if you have a dog at home, please bring them along for an on-leash, supervised meet and greet to see how we get along.

So far, you've learned I've got beauty , I've got brawn , but I also have brains! I have learned how to "sit," go "down," and I've mastered the agility ramps! I'm very treat motivated and take them gently. Jerky treats, crunchy treats, chicken treats-any and all of the above are approved by me! They're even tastier after I've worked hard to earn them!

So, what do you say? If you're looking for a loyal bestie with an adventurous spirit, a big smile, and an even bigger heart, don't wait out this storm! I'm already vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped which means I can go home with you right away to start our bright future together!

## See video of Storm at the end of the photo gallery! ##
TVAR.org/find-your-pet-adopt/dogs-puppies/

Storm was brought to our shelter on 3/11/26. She hasn't been reclaimed by her previous person, so she's now looking for a new home!

Her adoption fee is $35, plus licensing (if applicable) The cost of her spay surgery will be sponsored!

Storm's Shelter ID# is 89076. She is an approximately 5-year-old, red merle and white, Pit Bull mix. She currently weighs around 64 lbs. She has already been vaccinated, spayed and microchipped and is ready to go to her new home! Storm is located in kennel A-9.

** Age shown is an estimate only **

THIS IS A COURTESY POSTING If you are interested, please call the East County Animal Shelter at 925-803-7040 to see if this dog is still available.
