STORM's Story

Hi, my name is Storm! I was found running around a neighborhood last November. Two neighbors started trying to earn my trust by feeding me and leaving me warm places to stay when it was cold. I was happy to eat the food and sleep in the blankets, but I still did NOT trust these two-legged dogs. I did trust the lady’s dogs, though, so I started walking with her three dogs every morning, staying JUST far enough that the lady couldn’t pet me or catch me.
It started getting really hot, and I had trouble finding a cool, safe space to rest. The lady then lured me into a metal box, using Vienna Sausages. Did I mention I LOVE Vienna Sausages?! I went in the box to get my treat, and then WHAM! The door slammed shut! I was so scared!
The lady then took me to a cool, safe place with another really nice lady. This lady promised to take care of me and help my itchy places. I’ve been safe with the nice lady for a while now. I love her and all the other two and four-legged dogs she has! I’m learning to play with everyone, AND my itchy spots are gone, so I don’t have to have all those baths! Once my skin cleared up, my nice lady saw how pretty I was – black and white with some spots and the prettiest blue eyes she’d ever seen!
It's pretty great here- I have plenty of food and water and a safe, cool spot to snooze with the nice lady. But, what I really want is a home of my own. Anybody got a spot in their homes for a goofy, sweet girl? I’m still learning how to walk on a leash, but we could practice together, couldn’t we?! We could have so much fun!
Storm will be two in November. She’s believed to be a cattledog-Shar-Pei mix, weighing only 40lbs. She’s heartworm negative, up-to-date on all her shots, and has been spayed. Storm is good with people and other dogs, though she’s not a fan of getting her picture taken Won’t you adopt Storm?!

If you are interested in being a forever home for one of our dogs, please copy and paste this to submit an application: https://form.jotform.com/caiticarson/four-suns-csp-rescue-adoption-form

For more about our rescue, please visit us at https://foursunsrescue.com/
Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100066448966128
