STITCH's Story

WATCH MY VIDEO...At just 7 months old, Stitch should be busy enjoying all the adventures of puppyhood. Instead, this adorable tricolor Lab mix finds himself back at the shelter through no fault of his own.

Stitch was adopted as a tiny puppy and was settling into family life when an unexpected move changed everything. His family had to relocate to housing that does not allow pets, leaving Stitch without a place to call home. It's a heartbreaking situation, especially for a young dog who thought he had already found his forever family.

Not surprisingly, Stitch is feeling a little unsettled at the shelter. The busy environment can be overwhelming for a puppy who recently had a home of his own, and he can seem anxious while adjusting to all the changes. But once you spend a little time with him, his wonderful personality begins to shine through.

According to his former family, Stitch is curious when meeting new people and situations, but quickly warms up into a friendly, affectionate companion. He has plenty of puppy energy and loves going for walks and exploring the world around him. One of his favorite things is carrying around fluffy toys, and he enjoys interactive play with his people. When the day is done, Stitch's favorite place to sleep is right on top of his favorite humans, soaking up all the love and attention he can get.

His family reported that he does well with adults, children ages 6 and older, other dogs, and even cats.
